L-CBF BOOST™ 4-0-3-2S
Soil Nutrition Solutions - Liquid Carbon-Based Fertilizer
QLF Agronomy's L-CBF BOOST™ 4-0-3-2S is a liquid carbon-based fertilizer that combines balanced crop nutrients with complex carbon sources to enhance soil biology and improve nutrient availability.
Key Benefits
Boost Soil Health
Contains 30% sugars and fermentation yeast extract to increase soil microbes, improving nutrient availability, soil structure, and residue decomposition.
Reduce Leaf and Root Stress
When added to UAN, L-CBF BOOST™ helps reduce potential stress caused by high-nitrogen applications.
Reduce Drift Losses
Adding L-CBF BOOST™ to liquids and sprays minimizes losses to drift and enhances performance.
Versatile Application
L-CBF BOOST™ mixes easily with most liquid fertilizers; always perform a jar test before use to ensure proper blending.
Application Guidelines
Combine L-CBF BOOST™ with other liquids at a 10-20% inclusion rate (e.g. corn, wheat, grasses). Refer to soil test and your consultant for specific uses.
Recommended Application Rates by Crop
| Crop | Placement | Rate Per Acre |
|---|---|---|
| Corn | All row placements | 1-5 gal |
| Corn | Inclusion with UAN 28-32% Nitrogen | 10-20% |
| Soybeans | Banded (near the row + water) | 2-3 gal |
| Soybeans | Foliar (V1-V3) & (R1-R3) | 1-3 gal |
| Alfalfa | Broadcast (0-7 Days Post Cutting) | 5-10 gal |
| Wheat | All row placements | 1-3 gal |
| Wheat | Inclusion with UAN 28-32% Nitrogen | 10-20% |
** Results may vary. Always perform a compatibility jar test before application.
Michigan soybean field observation
BOOST-treated plants averaged 2.2× the Brix of the untreated check
At the R3 growth stage, leaf-sap readings from BOOST-treated soybeans averaged 14.9 Brix across three sampling dates. Untreated plants averaged 6.8 Brix under the same midday, full-sun sampling conditions.
Read the field report+8.1 Brix · 120% treated advantage
Higher Brix can indicate greater soluble-solids production and energy availability. It is a comparative field indicator—not a stand-alone yield predictor or performance guarantee. Less insect leaf feeding was observed on treated plants, but the observation does not prove pest control or cause and effect.
Protocol: R3 soybeans · 3 sampling dates · 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. · full sun
